Breakfast Attendant

Hotel Equities Group, LLC is hiring for an onsite Breakfast Attendant role in Harrisburg, PA. What You’ll Do

You will set up, maintain, and organize the hotel breakfast buffet before, during, and after service. This includes keeping food presentable, ensuring cleanliness throughout service areas, and managing proper stocking while following safety and sanitation procedures.

• Maintain the entire buffet by keeping all food looking fresh and full.
• Keep all areas clean at all times.
• Maintain proper stocking levels for utensils and china.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Complete general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to support health standards.
• Perform assigned side work, including replenishing all buffet supplements.
• Support other needs as directed, including assisting servers when needed and assisting other departments.
• May be requested to answer telephones and take room service orders, handle special guest requests, and greet and seat guests.
• Employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect hotel business needs.

What You Bring

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of sideboard items.
• Ability to transport large trays up to 40 lbs through a crowded room on a continuous basis.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with guests and take orders.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
