Cabinkeeper

Hotel Equities Group, LLC is hiring a Cabinkeeper for Postcard Cabins in Basye, VA (onsite). In this role, you help ensure cabins are spotless, well-stocked, and ready for guests by completing cleaning, preparation, and routine upkeep with care and respect for privacy.

The job blends hands-on housekeeping with practical property support, including inspecting cabins, flagging maintenance needs, and keeping shared areas and equipment in good working order.

Role & Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare cabins, patios, and public spaces to brand standards.
• Make beds and replace linens, towels, toiletries, and guest amenities.
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, furniture, windows, floors, and fixtures.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize all cabin areas.
• Inspect cabins for cleanliness, maintenance needs, and safety concerns.
• Report maintenance issues and damaged or missing items promptly.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment, carts, laundry, and supply inventory.
• Provide friendly, courteous service while respecting guest privacy.
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the property.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous housekeeping, hotel, resort, vacation rental, Airbnb, or residential cleaning experience (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with a passion for hospitality.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Safely use cleaning equipment, ladders, and cleaning products.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Compensation & Pay Range

USD 16.00 - USD 16.00 per hour
