Guest Room Attendant - On Call

Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall in Las Vegas is seeking an on-call guest room attendant to keep assigned rooms fresh, secure, and ready for arriving guests. This role focuses on cleaning to established company and departmental standards, completing required documentation, and coordinating with the housekeeping office when maintenance or repairs are needed.

As an on-call team member, you will move through each room with a detail-oriented approach, handling daily upkeep tasks, responding to guest requests in a timely manner, and ensuring room status updates are recorded properly.

What You’ll Do

• Clean guest rooms according to company and departmental standards.
• Maintain the security of guest rooms and their contents.
• Change bed linens.
• Collect used bath linens and replace them with fresh linens.
• Dust hard surfaces.
• Vacuum carpeted areas.
• Clean bathroom sink, counters, tub and/or shower, toilet, and related surfaces.
• Replenish in-room amenities such as tissues, soaps, and similar supplies.
• Stock and prepare the supply cart with items required for guest room cleaning.
• Update room status and complete the required departmental paperwork.
• Notify the housekeeping office of any repairs needed in guest rooms.
• Handle guest requests quickly and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar position preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
• Ability to push, pull, and maneuver a supply cart weighing approximately 200 pounds.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Physical ability for tasks including kneeling, reaching, stooping, bending, scrubbing, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Helpful knowledge of proper use of chemicals used in cleaning guest rooms.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
