Hotel Room Attendant

In this role, you will clean and service assigned guest rooms and bathrooms to hotel brand standards, helping maintain a safe, welcoming experience for every visitor. What you’ll do

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms and bathrooms according to hotel brand standards.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish towels and guest amenities.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Restock housekeeping carts and keep linens and cleaning products organized.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged items in guest rooms and public areas promptly.
• Ensure rooms are cleaned and ready for guest arrivals within established timeframes.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously while providing exceptional guest service.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of guest rooms and belongings.
• Assist with additional housekeeping tasks such as hallways, service areas, or special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors regarding room status.

Requirements

• Ability to push heavy carts.
• Ability to bend and reach to dust, clean, and make beds.
• Ability to stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
• Ability to talk with many different kinds of people to answer questions and provide required services.
• Ability to visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and for guest belongings left behind.
• Ability to use written communication to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork.
• Ability to move fingers, arms, and hands quickly and easily to perform cleaning duties.
• Ability to lift all equipment and supplies on and off the cart.

Compensation: USD 18 - 40 per hour.

Prior experience: At least one year of prior hotel housekeeping experience is preferred.
