Job Description

At Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia, the Main Banker I supports the day-to-day flow of the casino cage by providing attentive guest service and completing all required cage/bank/vault transactions. Working onsite in Philadelphia, you will help keep cash operations accurate and guests moving smoothly through exchanges, cashing out, and documentation processes that comply with applicable controls.

This role combines customer-facing service with careful cash handling, reporting, and record keeping across multiple banking areas. With a foundation of cashiering or banking experience preferred, you will assist with daily cage shift functions and ensure the shift runs efficiently from window to vault.

What You’ll Do

Deliver exceptional guest service while performing all casino cage transactions.
Manage cash control and disbursement for the cage/bank/vault.
Assist with daily cage shift functions to support an enjoyable guest gaming experience.
Service all cashiers and team member exchanges throughout the shift.
Keep the cash drawer balanced and in proper order.
Complete Currency Transaction Reports, W2G tax forms, and multiple transaction logs.
Maintain accurate record keeping for all duties and responsibilities.
Answer customer questions in a courteous and professional manner.
Verify and document personal ID information for checks, cash advances, and slot marker transactions.
Make exchanges with Main bank, Marker bank, and Chip bank.
Cash out customers and provide correct change.
Become familiar with the casino credit application process.
Clean/wash chips.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Ability to read, speak clearly, and listen.
Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions.
Ability to complete forms.
Complete and understand basic mathematical functions.
Must be able to distinguish between colors.
Knowledge of company policy and procedures, the IRS Bank Secrecy Act, and internal controls.
Knowledge across service areas, including front window, marker bank, Chip Bank, and main vault, with good communication skills.
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
One (1) year cashier or banking experience preferred.
Must comply with state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
Ability to work various hours as needed, including weekends, nights, overnights, and holidays.
Ability to work at a fast pace in stressful situations.
Must be able to stand for the entire shift.
Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs and to stoop, bend, and squat.
Must understand and speak English.
Ability to work in a setting with loud noise and visual distractions.
