Who We Are
Hotels done differently is more than a slogan; it guides how we operate. We center our work around People, Place, and Character, valuing individuals and celebrating the communities we serve while fostering pride among our associates.
The Detroit Foundation Hotel repurposed the historic Detroit Fire Department Headquarters into a 100-room independent property that contributes to Detroit’s evolving cultural, business, and arts scene. The hotel features The Apparatus Room on the ground floor and collaborates with local distillers, brewers, farmers, and other partners to showcase the city’s unique character.
Owned and managed by Aparium Hotel Group since 2011, the company aims to bring elevated, c-suite service to distinctive cities while honoring the authentic personality of each property.
