Host

Part-Time Host role at Lark's Restaurant at Ashland Springs Hotel in downtown Ashland, OR (onsite).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly at arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and waitlists to help reduce guest wait times.
• Keep the host stand and dining area clean, organized, and guest-ready.
• Relay guest needs and special requests to the service team.
• Support coordination for special events and private dining experiences.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant or food and beverage environment.
• Familiarity with reservation management systems.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage offerings.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective guest and team interactions.
• Organizational skills to manage reservations and maintain a smooth guest flow.
• Customer service skills as the first point of contact for guests.
• Preferred: familiarity with reservation systems to improve seating and waitlist efficiency.
• A combination of hospitality-focused skills that supports the guest experience and Ashland Springs F&B operations.
