Hotel Housekeeper

Hotel Hale invites applications for the role of Hotel Housekeeper at its property in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. This onsite, part-time position focuses on sustaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to support a welcoming guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to uphold high hygiene standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Perform floor care duties to keep all flooring looking pristine.
• Manage janitorial tasks efficiently by handling waste disposal, replenishing amenities, and ensuring cleaning equipment is properly maintained.
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of cleaning schedules and address any special requests from guests or management.

Requirements

• Experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hotels or similar hospitality environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and janitorial equipment operation.
• Familiarity with hospitality standards and guest service expectations is highly desirable.
• Ability to work efficiently whether independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably.
• Experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping management is a plus but not required.
