Hotel Maintenance Supervisor

Join the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Montgomery Downtown as a Hotel Maintenance Supervisor and lead day-to-day Engineering and Maintenance operations in a full-service, guest-focused environment. You will work onsite in Montgomery, AL while supporting a team that keeps the property running smoothly. Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the daily activities of the hotel Engineering and Maintenance team.
• Assign and prioritize maintenance work orders, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Perform and oversee maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building systems.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, back-of-house areas, and exterior spaces.
• Handle guest and departmental maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Monitor completion of work orders and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot equipment and building system issues to determine appropriate solutions.
• Assist with emergency maintenance situations and coordinate response efforts as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, inspections, and documentation.
• Help monitor and maintain hotel equipment, tools, supplies, and inventory.
• Support vendor coordination and follow up on outside repairs and service calls.
• Assist with property inspections, renovations, capital projects, and improvement initiatives.
• Train, coach, and support Maintenance team members on proper procedures and safety practices.
• Promote a clean, organized, and safe Engineering work environment.
• Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Partner with hotel leadership to identify recurring maintenance issues and improvement opportunities.
• Provide professional and courteous service to guests and team members.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel maintenance, engineering, facilities, building maintenance, or a related field.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and projects.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and accountable, comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities.
• Ability to train, coach, and support Maintenance team members.
• Hilton or full-service hotel Engineering experience is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and emergency situations, as needed.

Pay Range: $18–$21 per hour (compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience).
