Hotel Shuttle Driver

Hotel Vista Sierra in Auburn, CA offers an on-site shuttle driver role that keeps guests moving comfortably while supporting day-to-day upkeep around the property. You will contribute to a smooth arrival and departure experience, help keep assigned areas clean and presentable, and support safe operations throughout the hotel grounds.

What you’ll do

• Transport guests to and from designated locations in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist guests with luggage during loading and unloading.
• Maintain shuttle service standards by ensuring rides are consistently timely and convenient for hotel guests.
• Provide guests with information about the local area and available hotel amenities.
• Keep company vehicles clean and in good working condition.
• Follow all traffic and corporate regulations.
• Support property appearance through cleaning, housekeeping, and light maintenance tasks as needed.
• Perform limited grounds maintenance such as mowing and trimming lawns and hedges, and cleaning snow from sidewalks.
• Inspect the property for safety hazards and report concerns to the Assistant General Manager or other appropriate staff.
• Ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
• Complete other related duties as required.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a polite, courteous demeanor with staff, customers, clients, and visitors.
• Knowledge of the local area and attractions.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
• Ability to keep the property clean and orderly.
• Flexible availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Education, certifications, and checks

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a professional driver or shuttle driver preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must pass a background check.

Schedule and physical requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
