Housekeeper

At Mansions On Fifth Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA, this onsite Housekeeper position plays a key role in keeping guest spaces clean, fresh, and properly sanitized. The work focuses on consistent attention to detail, staying on schedule, and communicating clearly to support each guest’s needs.

You will perform assigned cleaning tasks using the right detergents and equipment, maintain organized records of cleaning activity, and help ensure all tools are cared for and stored properly. With a day shift schedule and weekend availability, you will keep standards high while completing duties within established time periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete thorough cleaning of hotel areas, including dusting, cleaning surfaces, and performing floor care to support a spotless environment.
• Follow proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
• Keep detailed records of cleaning activities and ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and stored appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide strong customer service.
• Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards.

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation practices; familiarity with cleaning detergents is preferred.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and outdoor work as needed.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent time management capabilities.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with guests.
• Weekend availability.

Pay and Schedule

• Pay: From $16.00 per hour (USD 16 per hourly)
• Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
• Shift availability: Day Shift (required)
• Work location: In person (onsite)
