Housekeeper/Laundry Worker

Splash Canyon Hotel is hiring a Housekeeper/Laundry Worker onsite in Twin Falls, ID. This paid role supports a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities, while following established safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms thoroughly, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and sanitizing surfaces to meet hotel standards
• Perform laundry operations such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care and efficiency
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuums, floor scrubbers, and chemical sprayers
• Handle cleaning agents responsibly by following Safety Data Sheet (SDS) protocols for safe chemical use
• Maintain sanitation standards in public areas including lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and other shared spaces through regular cleaning and disinfecting
• Follow hotel emergency procedures during incidents or potential safety hazards to help ensure guest and staff safety
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving linen carts or cleaning supplies while adhering to manual handling safety guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles with janitorial or hospitality background
• Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques and ability to operate floor care equipment
• Ability to manage chemical agents responsibly while maintaining SDS compliance
• Excellent customer service skills to address guest needs courteously and professionally
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond effectively during incidents
• Capability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks related to cleaning supplies and linens
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high cleanliness standards

Twin Falls, ID (onsite) at Splash Canyon Hotel.

Pay

USD 15 per hour.
