Housekeeping/Houseman

Join the housekeeping team at Wyndham Garden Hotel McAllen, Texas to keep guest areas clean, safe, and well maintained while delivering strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all assigned areas to meet established cleanliness standards within set time limits
• Provide excellent customer service while performing daily duties
• Create daily job lists and document all rooms serviced
• Maintain housekeeping equipment in good working condition
• Report any shortages, damages, or potential security issues
• Address reasonable guest complaints and requests, and escalate or inform others when required
• Check and monitor stocking levels of consumable supplies
• Follow applicable health and safety regulations and operate in line with company policies and licensing laws

Requirements

• Proven working experience in a relevant field
• Ability to work independently and stay motivated
• Customer service orientation
• Strong prioritization and time management skills
• Professional approach with speed and attention to detail
• Knowledge of the English language
• High school degree

Compensation and Schedule

• Salary: USD 12 per hour
• Work location: McAllen, TX (onsite)
