Laundry Tunnel Operator

The Laundry Tunnel Operator handles the loading and unloading of tunnel washers and dryers, while closely monitoring equipment to report any safety issues. This onsite role requires basic computer skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tunnel washers using specified linen weights and wash formulas.
• Load and unload tunnel dryers.
• Regularly lift and move substantial quantities of linen.
• Monitor equipment and promptly report safety concerns to management.

Requirements

• A high school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent is required.
• Ability to consistently lift 40 pounds or more.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency.
• Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Good vision and hearing to ensure safety around equipment.
• Must be able to speak and understand English.
