Room Attendant

The Volare Hotel San Clemente is hiring an experienced Room Attendant onsite in San Clemente, CA. This role supports a smooth guest experience by keeping rooms and suites clean, stocked, and ready, while handling guest requests with professionalism. The position offers an hourly rate of USD 16 and includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Check the housekeeping cart for supplies and restock as needed.
• Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere acknowledgment.
• Strip dirty linens and towels and remove used amenities from rooms and suites.
• Clean rooms and suites as assigned, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and washing windows and tracks.
• Report rooms as clean and available.
• Report maintenance deficiencies to help keep rooms in compliance with hotel standards.
• Replenish linen and guest amenities.
• Clean balconies, if applicable.
• Respond to special guest requests, such as providing extra amenities or accommodating service time requests.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience (ideal range: 1 to 2 years).
• Preference for prior experience working in a hotel or resort.
• Pleasant demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Can handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice.
• Willingness and availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
