Sportsbook Agent

The Sportsbook Agent role at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is performed onsite in Atlantic City, NJ, and supports the Sportsbook Supervisor through guest-focused service and accurate, timely assistance related to the Sportsbook and its products.

Role Overview

Reporting under the direction of the Sportsbook Supervisor, the Sportsbook Agent works as part of a team to meet and exceed customer satisfaction expectations. The position is responsible for helping enhance the player experience by providing professional support and ensuring wagers and related processes are handled accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Record patrons’ wager requests and enter wagers into the wagering system.
• Handle the cash drawer for wager intake and payouts, then reconcile the drawer.
• Detect potential responsible gaming concerns and advise customers at risk of responsible gaming issues.
• Communicate T&C details to customers regarding wagering rules and applicable policies.
• Promote and educate patrons on sports-related products and available wager types.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Must hold a Casino Employee Registration or be able to obtain one from the NJ DGE.
• Competent working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Advanced knowledge of online and/or brick-and-mortar casino and sports book operations is not required, but is a plus.
