Job Description
This role supports daily hotel operations by assisting the Front Desk and Housekeeping team with guest service needs and maintaining clean, well-presented public spaces. The position is onsite in Hermiston, OR.

Summary
Assist Front Desk and Housekeeping with guest services. Maintain cleanliness and order by handling responsibilities such as cleaning hallways, restrooms, meeting rooms, and other public areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Front Desk and Housekeeping with guest services, including cleaning hallways, restrooms, meeting rooms, and other public areas.
- Clean and vacuum hallways and public areas.
- Stock linen closets with clean linen.
- Report maintenance and repair needs.
- Report all damage, vandalism, and missing hotel property.
- Communicate with the supervisor regarding guest requests and problems.
- Deliver special guest items such as baby cribs, rollaway beds, microwaves, and refrigerators.
- Retrieve soiled linen from housekeeping carts and empty trash on carts.
- Move furniture and assist with rotating mattresses.
- Set up and tear down meeting rooms.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Complete other duties assigned by the manager.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Treat others with respect and support a positive, productive teamwork environment.
Requirements
- Physically able to perform cleaning duties.
- Ability to lift and carry average weight of 30 lbs frequently, with maximum weight 50 lbs frequently.
- Stand and walk up to two miles per day on cement, tile, asphalt, and carpet.
- Ability to reach and extend overhead to pull items down.
- Ability to push and pull average weight 50 lbs frequently, with maximum weight 150 lbs.
- Capable of repetitive motions including bending, kneeling, stooping, and twisting.
- Ability to work with and be exposed to fumes, chemicals, vibrations, humidity, cold, heat, dust, and noise.
- Adhere to the Hotel’s safety standards and procedures, including use of hearing, eye, and hand protection for equipment operation.
- Effectively manage time.
- Ability to communicate with guests and team members.
- Ability to adjust schedule changes and cover shifts on short notice.
- Ability to work a variety of hours and shifts.
- Follow appropriate policies and procedures while working to improve standards of operation.
- Follow all safety procedures and meet or exceed productivity standards set by the manager.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
