Job Description

As a House Attendant, you will help keep hotel public spaces clean and well maintained while supporting room and suite attendants with general housekeeping tasks. This is an onsite role in Harrisburg, PA at Hotel Equities Group, LLC.

Compensation

USD 16 per hour

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Clean public corridors, including tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, wiping, and dusting.
  • Deliver linen and supplies to room attendants and stock cage areas.
  • Assist with scheduled general cleaning of guest rooms.
  • Report maintenance requests to support compliance of public areas with brand standards.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of service standards.
  • Maintain regular attendance in accordance with standards that may be established by Hilton from time to time.
  • Assist with assigned projects as requested.
  • Assist coworkers as requested.

Requirements

  • Ability to arrive on time and when scheduled.
  • Ability to work independently to complete all daily assigned duties.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members verbally and/or in writing.
  • Ability to learn, follow, and enforce cleanliness standards for assigned areas.
  • Ability to follow all safety procedures/standards and recognize and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance (specific standards provided).
  • Meet the minimum age requirements of the applicable jurisdiction.

Safety and PPE

OSHA laws require use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing work duties with potential risk to health or safety. The required PPE includes:

  • Closed-toe and heel shoes with rubber soles

Team members will be trained in the proper use and care of assigned PPE. The hotel provides the required PPE. Report defective, damaged, lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly to your manager.
