Breakfast Attendant

Hotel La Croix is hiring a Breakfast Attendant / Runner to help create a smooth, welcoming start to each day in the Breakfast Lounge. This guest-facing Food & Beverage role focuses on greeting arrivals, supporting timely food service, and keeping the lounge clean, organized, and fully stocked from opening through closing.

Located onsite in Honolulu, HI, the position supports breakfast operations by verifying breakfast packages, processing charges when needed, running food from the kitchen, and clearing tables to maintain an inviting dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests as they enter the Breakfast Lounge.
• Verify guest breakfast packages and process breakfast charges for guests without a package.
• Assist with opening and preparing the Breakfast Lounge prior to service.
• Keep the Breakfast Lounge clean, organized, and well presented throughout the morning.
• Monitor food stations, beverage stations, and supplies to ensure they remain fully stocked.
• Retrieve food, beverages, and supplies from the kitchen and replenish the lounge as needed.
• Run food from the kitchen to the Breakfast Lounge efficiently to support timely service.
• Clear tables and maintain a clean dining environment throughout breakfast service.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide prompt, friendly assistance.
• Work closely with the kitchen, Front Desk, Guest Experience, and Housekeeping teams to support smooth daily operations.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in line with hotel policies.
• Support closing duties, cleaning, and preparing the lounge for the next day’s service.
• Provide professional, exceptional customer service during every guest interaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous hospitality, restaurant, food and beverage, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Warm, friendly personality and genuine commitment to guest service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to multitask effectively.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

This is a guest-facing Food & Beverage position. During most of the shift, the Breakfast Attendant / Runner will spend time standing, walking, carrying food and supplies, and interacting with guests. The role requires efficiency in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional cleanliness, professionalism, and hospitality standards.
