Busser

Durango Cocina & Rooftop at Sanctity Hotel Rancho Cucamonga (Hilton Tapestry Collection) is seeking professional, guest-focused Bussers to support upscale restaurant and rooftop dining room operations in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Role Overview

As a Busser, you will help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment while supporting service teams during busy shifts. The position includes table set and reset work, prompt clearing of dining areas, assisting servers with guest needs, and following food safety and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and reset dining tables quickly and accurately according to restaurant standards.
• Clear tables promptly and professionally throughout service.
• Assist servers with delivering food, beverages, and guest requests as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, rooftop spaces, service stations, and guest-facing areas.
• Refill water, stock service supplies, and support overall dining room operations.
• Remove dishes, glassware, and utensils efficiently while maintaining guest comfort.
• Monitor dining areas and proactively address cleanliness and organization needs.
• Support the server, host, bar, kitchen, and management teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Assist with opening, closing, side work, restocking, and other duties assigned by management.
• Respond professionally and courteously to guest needs and requests.
• Notify management of guest concerns or operational issues requiring attention.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, hotel, hospitality, or food service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard hospitality environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented approach to work.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift while carrying trays, dishes, and service items throughout shifts.
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively with team members.
• Must follow all company grooming, uniform, hygiene, and professional conduct standards.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an upscale restaurant, rooftop venue, hotel restaurant, lounge, banquet, or hospitality setting.
• Familiarity with restaurant service procedures and guest service standards.
• Experience assisting front-of-house teams during high-volume service periods.
• Ability to maintain professionalism while working efficiently in a busy environment.

Team members are expected to maintain a polished appearance, support excellent guest service, and help keep dining spaces clean, organized, and welcoming for every guest.

Employment Type and Schedule

Full-Time and Part-Time positions may be available. Flexible availability is required, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
