Outlet Busser (Server Assistant)

Watermark BR Hotel is seeking a part-time Outlet Busser (Server Assistant) to support the dining team in Baton Rouge, LA. This role helps Servers and Bartenders deliver smooth, welcoming service by staying focused on guest needs, table readiness, and sanitation standards throughout each shift.

Working onsite and reporting to the Restaurant Manager and Food & Beverage Director, you will support meal service from bread and water through clearing, resetting, and maintaining clean work areas. The position is a tipped role with an hourly wage of USD 7.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Servers and Bartenders with service tasks such as filling breadbaskets, watering glasses, cleaning empty plates, replenishing table supplies, and helping ensure food is served on time.
• Keep tables clean and presentable with clean china, glassware, silverware, and linen.
• Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and sanitation across the restaurant and hotel.
• Provide friendly, service-focused interactions with guests and team members.
• Provide water and bread service during the meal.
• Assist with coffee, tea, and other non-alcoholic beverage service.
• Be knowledgeable of all food and non-alcoholic beverage menus and answer questions confidently.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables in your assigned section in line with restaurant standards and sanitation guidelines, including pre-bussing tables.
• Keep work areas clean and properly stocked for each meal period.
• Complete opening and closing duties and cleaning according to established checklists.
• Ensure dishes, silverware, and glasses are removed from hotel public areas, including guest room floors.
• Support a team-oriented work environment and uphold hospitality standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field.
• RV Server Permit and Parish ABC Card.
