Cage Cashier

The Cage Cashier position at Seven Feathers Hotel & Casino Resort operates onsite in Canyonville, Oregon, handling a variety of monetary transactions at an assigned cage station. This role emphasizes accurate balancing, reconciliation, and meticulous record-keeping to maintain compliance with Title 31 regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process a range of monetary transactions and maintain records for cash, checks, coin machine tickets, travelers checks, redeemed slot tickets, jackpot tickets, handling tickets, paid expired tickets, and promotional vouchers, with corresponding reports.
• Provide an auditable paper trail for all increases or decreases in any monetary item within the cage area.
• Complete fills, clip transfers, and exchanges as needed, while maintaining records required for Title 31 compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and deliver timely reports, staying current on Title 31 regulations and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.
• 1 year of cash handling experience in a bank or retail setting required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and tasks concurrently.
• Strong organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Commitment to delivering excellent guest service.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Title 31 regulations and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
• Ability to obtain Title 31 Certification.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with established standards.
