Cage Teller Floater

In this onsite role at Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel in Worley, ID, the Cage Teller Floater supports cage operations by assisting guests with accurate, compliant financial transactions while covering varying shifts and assigned teller duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of guest experience by addressing issues and resolving challenging scenarios with professionalism and tact in a fast-paced environment.
• Process cash-out vouchers, make change, cash checks, and complete debit and credit card transactions, including promotional cash payouts.
• Handle foreign currency exchanges as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of Title 31 and applicable Gaming regulations, and follow procedures for establishing new patron accounts in accordance with Title 31 guidelines.
• Ensure the cash drawer is balanced at all times, perform exchanges with the vault when required, and complete transactions accurately throughout the shift.
• Use multiple computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel, proficiently.
• Balance the cashier bank and maintain accuracy based on established standards.
• Use a currency counting machine to verify banks and other cash issues before accepting the amount.
• Complete and sign all paperwork neatly and fully according to current departmental policy.
• Maintain security for the bank, workstation, and other computer information.
• Notify the supervisor, security, and surveillance if stolen or altered checks, coupons, or voided tickets are cashed.
• Report any variances to the shift supervisor before leaving for the day.
• Attend team meetings, including assigned training and workshops as requested by the manager.
• Immediately notify the supervisor of alerts, customer complaints, or employee concerns to support timely resolution.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Two (2) years of cash-handling experience required; three (3) years preferred.
• One (1) year experience as a Cage Cashier and/or Main Bank Cashier preferred.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to obtain and retain a Class A gaming license through the CDA Tribal Gaming Commission.
• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking capability in a fast-paced environment, including handling large sums of money accurately while supporting great guest experiences.
• Strong math skills.
• Intermediate computer skills required; advanced preferred.
