Pyramid Hotel Group is hiring an entry-level Engineer I for onsite maintenance support in Punta Gorda, FL 33980 (second shift).

Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner
Walk daily routes and complete necessary repairs
Support daily operations and assigned activities under direction of department management
Provide administrative and technical support as directed
Use diagnostic tools, including Amp Meters, Voltmeters, OHM meters, compound gauges, and pressure gauges (as needed for assigned tasks)
Work from blueprints and schematics and interpret manufacturer guidelines for operation and maintenance of related equipment
Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and facilities fixtures, furnishings, and equipment
Use hand and power tools effectively
Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong interpersonal skills with business contacts
Maintain a professional, neat, well-groomed appearance aligned with company standards
Perform other job-related duties as requested and other duties as assigned
All duties performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resort policies, practices, and procedures

Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in a resort setting preferred
HVAC experience preferred
Combination of education and experience considered
Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines
Mature personal discretion and sound judgment
Strong leadership abilities, sound judgment, superior problem solving, and decision-making skills
