Guest Service Agent

Executive Hotel Le Soleil NYC is seeking a Guest Service Agent to support smooth guest experiences from arrival through departure. The role is onsite in New York, NY and focuses on clear communication, careful attention to detail, and effective use of hotel systems to handle guest needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, professional approach and deliver a strong first impression upon arrival.
• Process guest check-in and check-out efficiently using property management systems, including OPERA or similar platforms.
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a positive attitude, using proactive problem-solving to support resolution.
• Maintain reservation accuracy by updating records, modifying bookings, and supporting hospitality reservation processes that help optimize occupancy.
• Share relevant information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and emergency procedures to support guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to address guest needs promptly while upholding safety standards.
• Answer incoming calls using proper phone etiquette, route inquiries appropriately, and provide consistent customer service.

Required Qualifications

• Multilingual or bilingual capabilities preferred to serve diverse clientele effectively.
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, night audit processes, and hotel management best practices.
• Strong customer service skills focused on guest relations and effective problem resolution.
• Ability to communicate clearly in person and over the phone while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within hotels or resorts.
• Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or comparable platforms.

Compensation and Location
