Hotel Chief Engineer

The Hotel Chief Engineer will oversee maintenance and engineering operations across multiple hotel properties on Cape Cod, covering locations in Hyannis and Yarmouth. This onsite role focuses on safe, efficient, and sustainable facility performance through proactive preventive maintenance and coordinated support for seasonal openings and closings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engineering teams across multiple hotel locations, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Manage and support core facilities systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment, to maintain optimal operating performance.
• Create and execute project management plans for repairs, upgrades, or new installations, ensuring work aligns with safety standards and budget constraints.
• Bring relevant experience with pools, with the option to leverage pool-related knowledge (CPO is not required, but helpful).
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for projects carried out at all properties.
• Work closely with property General Managers, the Corporate Project Manager, and the Regional Operation Manager.

Required Qualifications

• Proven management experience in facilities or industrial maintenance within the hospitality or manufacturing sectors.
• Extensive supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems, electrical troubleshooting, and hotel maintenance practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English to lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work and general facilities management.

Compensation

$90,000 - $105,000 per year (USD).
