Hotel Housekeeper

As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will clean and reset guest rooms to established quality and performance standards, helping ensure a strong supply of vacant rooms for sale and supporting consistently high guest satisfaction. The role is based in person, with the flexibility of a flexible schedule and paid time off, plus an employee discount.

What you’ll do

• Clean and reset guest room areas according to established standards.
• Organize and stock the cleaning cart, and organize linen and guest supplies in storage rooms.
• Complete assigned job duties accurately and in a timely manner.
• Carry out general cleaning using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards.
• Handle other requested tasks, including cleaning unexpected spills, executing special guest requests, and washing, folding, and putting away laundry.
• Assist other housekeeping employees in keeping work areas and public spaces clean and organized.
• Stock and maintain housekeeping carts and housekeeping storage rooms.
• Report maintenance issues to the General Manager or Maintenance personnel.

Position purpose

Clean guest rooms in line with established quality and performance standards so there is an adequate number of clean, vacant rooms available for sale. Also clean occupied rooms to support the highest level of guest satisfaction.

Essential physical demands

• Regular use of talking, listening, and close visual acuity.
• Movement and working requirements including kneeling, crouching, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, balancing, and grasping.
• Repetitive motion and ability to work in extreme heat and cold.
• Lifting ability up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a standing position for up to 8 hours.
