Hotel Housekeeper

Inn on Main Hotel in Manasquan, NJ is hiring a full-time Hotel Housekeeper onsite to maintain guest rooms and common areas with weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Clean and turn over guest rooms to hotel standards, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal
• Restock linens, towels, and guest amenities
• Keep hallways, stairs, and common areas clean and presentable
• Handle laundry as needed
• Report maintenance issues or lost items to management
• Coordinate with the front desk to prioritize rooms for early check-ins and same-day arrivals

Requirements

• Reliable, on time, and takes pride in the work
• Attention to detail
• Ability to be on your feet, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Available weekends
• Reliable transportation
• Background check may be required
• Prior housekeeping or hotel experience is a plus; training available for the right person

Benefits

• $17/hour plus tips

Schedule

• Full-time, 5 days per week (part-time may be available)
• Shifts start at 11 AM and typically finish between 3 to 5 PM
• Weekends are required; holidays are preferred
• Busy season: peak summer and the shoulder months
• Off-season is slower, but year-round availability is needed

Pay

• $17/hour plus tips
• $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
