House Person

Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel is looking for a House Person to help keep guest experiences smooth from arrival to departure. This onsite role in Baton Rouge, LA focuses on maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in guest corridors, elevators, and assigned areas, while also supporting housekeeping needs through attentive service and reliable operational follow-through. What you’ll do

• Maintain a consistently attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous approach toward guests, managers, and fellow employees.
• Use safe work habits to support the safety of guests, coworkers, and yourself.
• Keep cleanliness standards high in guest corridors, elevators, public areas, closets, and assigned spaces.
• Handle Lost and Found items according to hotel standards.
• Deliver items to guest rooms as needed, including clean linen to assigned sections when necessary.
• Pick up Room Attendants’ dirty linen or trash as needed and keep work areas organized.
• Collect trash from service landings and take it to dispose in outside trash dumpsters per hotel procedures.
• Vacuum guest corridors and help maintain public restrooms through cleanliness and sanitation.
• Follow the schedule for project cleaning in public areas.
• Maintain stairwells to hotel standards.
• Keep ash urns clean and filled with sand.
• Report maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Be familiar with correct guestroom cleaning procedures to assist if needed.

Renaissance Baton Rouge is seeking a House Person responsible for maintaining high cleanliness standards in all guest corridors, elevators, and all assigned areas. The role also includes delivering items to guest rooms (including luggage, irons, and coffee, as applicable).
