House Person

Onsite role in Euless, TX at Cambria Hotel Euless - DFW Airport South. In this position, you help keep guest spaces fresh, orderly, and ready for arrivals by cleaning, restocking, and maintaining assigned rooms and public areas.

What you’ll do

• Receive assigned room lists from the manager, prioritize rooms requesting early cleaning, and complete work in the assigned order.
• Check the inventory on the cleaning cart and add any necessary supplies before starting room service.
• Knock and announce yourself before entering; if rooms are occupied, return at a later time.
• Remove soiled linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets and replace them with fresh items.
• Make beds neatly and stock towels, washcloths, and hand towels according to hotel policies.
• Clean and disinfect bathroom and kitchenette or coffee-preparation areas according to hotel policies.
• Wipe surfaces in the room, including cleaning mirrors.
• Vacuum floors and remove trash from assigned areas.
• Check complimentary coffee, snack, and toiletry supplies, restocking according to the provided hotel checklist and policy.
• Complete a final walkaround to confirm each room meets hotel standards.
• Notify the supervisor of room availability and report any suspicious activity to security.
• Ensure soiled linens are laundered, including loading hotel washers and dryers and folding sheets and towels in the laundry room as needed.
• Notify the maintenance department of needed maintenance or repairs.
• Place found items in the designated lost and found area if a guest has checked out.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Discreet approach that respects guest privacy.
• Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly manner.
• Sufficient education and literacy to read and identify product labels and communicate job-related needs.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, and frequently pull, push, and bend.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Willingness to work a rotation seven-day work cycle with occasional afternoon shifts.
