Housekeeper

This paid, on-site role in Boise, ID offers an hourly wage of USD 16 and the chance to develop skills in hospitality and custodial services while contributing to guest comfort and satisfaction. You will help uphold high cleanliness standards across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces as part of the Hotel 28, Ascend Collection team.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
• Keep public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces clean by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors regularly.
• Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
• Restock toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for staff and guests.
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and operate janitorial equipment safely and effectively.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to management to support swift resolution.
• Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the property to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and use of janitorial equipment.
• Experience with hospitality standards and guest service is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
