Housekeeping

Maintain clean, comfortable guest spaces at Lafayette hotel in Marietta, OH (onsite).

Responsibilities

• Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to support a dust-free environment
• Clean guest rooms and common areas thoroughly and efficiently
• Make beds using clean linens to maintain a tidy appearance
• Handle laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing sheets and towels
• Store clean linens and supplies in the assigned storage locations
• Complete all cleaning duties in line with established standards and safety guidelines
• Report maintenance issues or damages noticed during cleaning
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred, but not required
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as dusting, lifting, and bending for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently or collaborate as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is a plus
