Housekeeper

Maintain spotless rooms and shared spaces while supporting safe, welcoming guest experiences at Hotel 44° North Winona in Winona, MN (onsite).

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using the correct techniques and cleaning equipment
• Keep floors in top condition by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and performing carpet care
• Restock and replenish supplies including toiletries, linens, towels, and guest amenities
• Use established safety protocols during cleaning to support a safe environment for team members
• Identify and report maintenance concerns or damages promptly to help ensure timely repairs
• Follow all health and safety regulations relevant to janitorial and industrial cleaning practices
• Support special cleaning projects and scheduled deep cleans as directed by management

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, or custodial work is highly preferred
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning tools and floor care methods is advantageous
• Experience in hospitality settings preferred for familiarity with guest service cleanliness standards
• Essential knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation practices, and safety procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings, independently and as part of a team
• Housekeeping management experience is a plus for supervisory or training responsibilities
