Housekeeper

The Timberlake Hotel is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to help maintain strong cleanliness standards across guest rooms and shared hotel areas in Staples, MN. This role includes a flexible schedule and ongoing cleaning and restocking duties throughout the shift.

Position Details

• Location: Staples, MN (onsite)
• Job Type: Part-time
• Work Schedule: Mornings, weekends, and holidays may be included; schedules may vary based on business needs
• Hours Per Week: 10-19
• Expected Hours: 12.0 - 16.0 per week
• Pay: From $15.00 per hour (USD 15 per hourly)
• Minimum Experience: 1 year

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, count, and carry linens.
• Make beds and prepare guest rooms for occupancy.
• Replenish supplies in each guest room as needed.
• Move furniture when required for proper cleaning.
• Clean shared areas including the lobby, restrooms, stairways, elevator, hallways, and the exercise room.
• Clean pool party rooms.
• Sweep and scrub floors; vacuum carpets.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dust furniture.
• Wash walls and woodwork.
• Wash windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets, transport waste and trash to the disposal area, and replenish restroom supplies.
• Wash all dishes and replace them as needed.
• Refill linen carts at the end of each shift.
• Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Flexible schedule with shifts that may include mornings, weekends, and holidays; schedules may vary based on business needs.
• Ability to frequently reach above head and below waist, bend, stoop, and squat.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, and use wrists and hands.
• Must regularly lift and/or move 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Do you have a working cellphone with the ability to receive voicemails? (Required application question)
• Cleaning experience: 1 year (Preferred)
