Housekeeper

This Housekeeper role with PDK Hotel Group at the Holiday Inn Express in Portland, OR (onsite) focuses on maintaining a clean, well-presented environment for guests by completing guest room and common area upkeep, restocking, and related reporting. The position supports a safe, efficient housekeeping workflow while following established safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms thoroughly, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Change bed linens and towels while maintaining strong cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Restock room supplies as needed, including toiletries, coffee, and other amenities.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the housekeeping management team.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures during cleaning tasks.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to support an efficient workflow and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Background in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management is advantageous.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
