Housekeeper

Deadwood Miners Hotel & Restaurant is hiring fun, responsible team members to help keep our property clean, welcoming, and well prepared for every guest. This onsite Housekeeper position in Deadwood, SD offers an hourly wage of $16 and the opportunity to contribute to a smooth guest experience through consistent, detail-focused service.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will maintain cleanliness and readiness across the property, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms. Your day-to-day work includes both cleaning and light guest support to ensure spaces are organized and supplies stay stocked.

• Keep common spaces such as the lobby, hallways, and restrooms clean and stocked with supplies
• Answer general questions from guests
• Perform cleaning duties and arrange guest rooms to the hotel’s standard before guests arrive
• Complete tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, making beds, changing sheets, and handling laundry
• Stock rooms and complete other cleaning duties as assigned

Requirements

This position is a good fit for someone who works steadily, communicates clearly, and manages time effectively while following proven cleaning techniques.

• A hard worker with strong time management, organization, and communication skills
• A good understanding of cleaning techniques and products
• Graduated high school, received a G.E.D., or equivalent
• Willingness to train the right person

Compensation

$16 per hour
