Housekeeper

Cambria Hotel Columbus Polaris is hiring a Housekeeper to support a consistently clean, comfortable experience for guests. This part-time onsite role focuses on maintaining high cleanliness standards through room and facility cleaning, restocking, and essential janitorial and laundry-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate techniques and cleaning equipment
• Keep floors in excellent condition by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and completing specialized floor care procedures
• Restock supplies including toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to help ensure guest comfort
• Follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals properly to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests
• Complete regular inspections, identify maintenance concerns or areas needing extra attention, and report them promptly
• Support laundry duties, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing when required
• Assist with janitorial tasks such as trash removal and surface sanitation to uphold overall facility cleanliness

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments, with hotel experience highly valued
• Knowledge of floor care techniques, including polishing, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods
• Strong understanding of janitorial procedures and industrial cleaning practices
• Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and complete repetitive tasks throughout shifts
• Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus, but not required

Pay and Work Schedule

• Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
• Job Type: Part time
• Work Location: In person (onsite)
