Housekeeper

Hotel 28, Ascend Collection is hiring a Housekeeper in Boise, ID (onsite) to keep guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces consistently clean, organized, and welcoming. This is a paid role focused on maintaining high cleanliness standards throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to support hygiene standards.
• Maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors on a regular basis.
• Complete laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
• Restock supplies including toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for staff and guests.
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and operate janitorial equipment safely and effectively.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to management to support timely resolution.
• Support overall cleanliness and organization of the property to help enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and use of janitorial equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.

Preferred Background

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly desirable.
• Experience with hospitality standards and guest service is a plus.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is beneficial, but not required, as training will be provided for the right candidate.

Compensation and Schedule

Pay: $16.00 to $16.50 per hour
