Housekeeping House Attendant

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh is seeking a Housekeeping House Attendant to help keep the hotel clean, welcoming, and well presented for every guest. This part-time onsite role supports day-to-day upkeep across public spaces and meeting areas, while also assisting with guest-requested housekeeping needs and assigned deep-cleaning projects.

You will start each shift by receiving assignments, keys, pager, and any special guest requests from your supervisor, then stay focused on delivering fast, friendly service throughout your route. Along the way, you will check and replenish supplies and return any lost items with proper documentation to the Housekeeping Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the lobby, hallways, and public areas, including the sidewalk, brass awning poles, signage, entrance, and alley.
• Clean and set up meeting rooms for functions according to the function sheets.
• Complete assigned deep cleaning tasks, including shampooing rooms and public spaces.
• Set up and maintain complimentary lobby functions, including the morning coffee service and nightly concierge events.
• Deliver housekeeping items (such as hair dryers, ironing boards, and irons) to guest rooms when requested through the front desk.
• Obtain shift assignments and follow special guest requests provided at the start of your shift.
• Check supplies and cleaning tools and replenish as needed.
• Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner.
• Return lost items with proper documentation to the Housekeeping Department.
• Be prepared to take on responsibilities outside of this job post at times.

Requirements

• High School Diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in customer service or a similar position.
• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Passion for customer service, strong verbal communication skills, and basic writing skills.
• Flexible scheduling, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
