Housekeeping Attendant

As a Housekeeping Attendant at Crown Hotel & Travel Management LLC in Wilmington, NC, you will keep guest rooms clean, comfortable, and maintained to hotel standards through daily room care and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Change bed linen daily according to established room standards
• Vacuum carpeting to maintain a clean, presentable appearance
• Dust all furniture surfaces, including picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, and dressers
• Remove fingerprints and smudges from mirrors, shiny surfaces, windows, and other areas as needed
• Thoroughly clean the bathroom area, including shower stall, sink, floor, toilet, and surrounding surfaces
• Ensure standard room set-up is completed and compliant for every room
• Report immediately any damage found in a room
• Report missing items immediately; also report personal guest items found in vacant rooms right away
• Turn in “lost and found” items immediately to the Executive Housekeeper
• Assist with additional cleaning chores as assigned by housekeepers

Requirements

• Detail-oriented and thorough approach to cleaning
• Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards
• Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly way
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Frequently pulling, pushing, and bending during the shift
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning and folding motions for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Compensation

• USD 15–16 per hour
