Housekeeping Attendant

THE QUEENSBURY HOTEL is hiring full-time, year-round Housekeeping Attendants for a busy onsite team in Glens Falls, NY. Set in a historic setting, The Queensbury Hotel is a 1926-built landmark and a 123-room boutique hotel known for welcoming guests through every season. Team members also work at a property with two restaurants, meeting and event space featuring thousands of square feet, an indoor heated pool and hot tub, and a newly renovated fitness center.

Responsibilities

• Make beds and prepare rooms for guests
• Dust surfaces and keep rooms presentable
• Vacuum floors and maintain clean walkways
• Clean windows as assigned
• Clean bathrooms to established standards
• Sweep and mop as needed
• Organize items in rooms appropriately
• Lift up to 25 lbs when required

Requirements

• Motivated and able to keep steady progress during assigned duties
• Self-starter who can work with minimal prompting
• Reliable and dependable for full-time, year-round scheduling

Compensation & Onsite Schedule

This is a full-time, year-round housekeeping position based onsite in Glens Falls, NY. Pay is $16 to $18 per hour, with daily room bonus pay added on top of your hourly rate. Weekly incentive programs are also available.
