Housekeeping - Houseman

Hotel Tano is seeking a Housekeeping - Houseman to support the cleanliness and day-to-day readiness of guest rooms and public areas. This on-site full-time position in Tamuning, GU focuses on custodial cleaning, restocking, and timely reporting of maintenance needs while following hotel cleaning and disinfecting procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces throughout the hotel
• Complete custodial tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces
• Change bed linens and towels, replenish amenities, and restock supplies as needed
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
• Report maintenance issues and any safety hazards to housekeeping management
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and disinfecting high-touch areas
• Adhere to hotel policies and procedures that support cleanliness and guest satisfaction

Job Requirements

• Cleaning experience of 1 year (required)
• Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning preferred
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills to work with guests and team members
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays

Schedule, Job Type, and Pay

• Job type: Full-time
• Pay: From $10.00 per hour
• Shifts: 8 hour shift, 10 hour shift, day shift, morning shift
• Work location: In person (onsite)
