Housekeeping Houseperson

Join the team to keep hotel rooms and shared spaces clean, stocked, and guest-ready at the Boca Raton Marriott Hotel at Boca Center (onsite).

Responsibilities

• Clean guest and work areas including rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other assigned spaces.
• Follow the regulations in the material safety data sheets when using cleaning chemicals.
• Move and arrange furniture; dust and polish furniture, metalwork, and equipment.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using brooms and mops and powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
• Vacuum and clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Collect soiled linens for laundering; receive and store linen supplies in the linen closet.
• Clean bathrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
• Refurnish rooms with required supplies, towels, and related items.
• Stock and maintain the cleaning cart with appropriate supplies for the shift.
• Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork; clean windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and empty and clean ashtrays.
• Transport trash and waste to the designated disposal area.
• Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements
