Housekeeping Manager

At The Sunny Hotel in Sunny Isles Beach, FL, the Housekeeping Manager plays a key role in keeping every part of the property operating smoothly and looking its best. This onsite position oversees the daily housekeeping department to support consistent cleanliness and strong guest experiences, while leading the team through inspections, follow-ups, and ongoing development.

Working with a focus on operational detail, you will coordinate room assignments and special requests, monitor cleanliness standards across guestrooms and public areas, and ensure concerns are addressed with the right follow-through. The role also supports training and coaching so team members can perform effectively day to day.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with housekeeping staff regarding rooms to be cleaned and any special requests
• Inspect guestrooms and public areas to maintain established cleanliness standards
• Communicate with appropriate departments on relevant statuses
• Follow up on guest complaints and requests to ensure resolution
• Assist with training, coaching, and development of team members

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members
• 2 years of prior housekeeping experience
• Read, write, and speak English fluently
• Spanish communication is helpful
• Knowledge of scheduling and productivity
• High school math level required
