Housekeeping Manager

Join Y O Ranch Hotel & Conference Center in Kerrville, TX (onsite) as a Housekeeping Manager. This role supports a clean, safe property experience for guests by leading the housekeeping team and overseeing daily service standards across rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise housekeeping staff to maintain cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction standards throughout the property.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality control procedures to support efficiency and service quality.
• Oversee daily operations including room cleaning, public area maintenance, laundry services, and custodial tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster professional growth while upholding company standards.
• Manage inventory for cleaning agents, linens, and equipment to ensure cost-effective usage while maintaining quality.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to confirm compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or event preparations requiring deep cleaning or specialized custodial services.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within a hospitality or hotel environment.
• Strong supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing teams.
• Knowledge of management principles related to housekeeping operations and staff development.
• Expertise in laundry processes and commercial cleaning techniques for various surfaces and materials.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication skills for training staff, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Compensation and Work Location

Salaried compensation based on experience. This position is in person at Y O Ranch Hotel & Conference Center.
