Housekeeping Worker

Hotel Inn Pendleton I-84 offers an on-site, part-time Housekeeping Assistant role in Pendleton, OR with an hourly wage of $16.50–$17.50. This position supports guest comfort by keeping rooms and shared areas clean, well-presented, and ready on time for check-in. Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms, including changing bed linens, replacing towels, and restocking amenities.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms; dust furniture and fixtures; vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Maintain public and common areas (hallways, lobbies, restrooms) according to hotel standards.
• Remove trash and recyclables and empty waste bins in guest rooms and public spaces.
• Restock housekeeping carts and supply closets; report low inventory to a supervisor.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damage found in rooms or public areas.
• Follow hotel policies for safety, hygiene, and infection control.
• Ensure rooms are prepared timely for check-in, coordinating with front desk/management.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and respect guest privacy.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management skills to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.
• Physical stamina: able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift/move items such as beds, carts, and supplies.
• Basic reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable and honest with a positive attitude, and respect for guests and coworkers.

Hours & Schedule

• Part-time or Full-time hours (job types listed: Full-time, Part-time).
• Hours are variable and can range from 20 to 40 hours depending on what works; flexibility is required on weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
• During busy days, hours may exceed 8 hours per day depending on demand.
• Shifts may be scheduled during mornings or afternoons.

Compensation
