Overnight Houseperson

Join the team at Dossier Hotel Portland in Portland, OR as an Overnight Houseperson and help maintain a welcoming, well-kept experience for guests throughout the night. This onsite role supports daily operations by keeping public and guest spaces clean, delivering requested items, and assisting housekeeping needs during assigned shifts.

What you can expect

Work an overnight schedule while contributing to a hotel environment where guests notice the details. You will support floor readiness by collecting trash and dirty linen, restocking clean linens, and ensuring common areas are maintained to standard. You will also assist guests by bringing requested supplies directly to their rooms.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver guest-requested supplies, including rollaway beds, cribs, and blankets, to guest rooms
• Provide service that stays focused on guests by anticipating needs, listening attentively, and responding promptly
• Maintain a clean environment in guest rooms, corridors, the lobby, and other work areas
• At the start of each shift, visit assigned floors to collect trash, dirty linen, and other materials as directed by management
• Restock linen supplies by transporting clean linen to housekeeping storage facilities on each floor

Qualifications

• High school graduate (GED or equivalent)
• Proven customer service experience with a guest-focused approach
• 1 year experience as a houseperson or housekeeper is strongly desired
• Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products
• Strong work ethic with organizational, time management, and communication skills

Compensation

$18.50 hourly (onsite position in Portland, OR).
