Houseperson

Houseperson role for Hotel Vista Sierra in Auburn, CA (onsite).

Responsibilities

• Clean and perform housekeeping services across assigned areas of the hotel property and grounds
• Strip rooms for housekeepers
• Place laundry into the laundry chute
• Collect litter and empty trash containers
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing shared facilities and public spaces
• Wash windows
• Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, and furniture throughout all floors
• Mop the first floor and storages
• Remove garbage for the entire hotel, including housekeeping carts, and take it to the dumpster
• Ensure housekeeping supplies and amenities remain stocked
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions
• Ability to work discreetly
• Detail-oriented approach and consistent attention to thoroughness
• Ability to keep the property clean, organized, and orderly
• Good interpersonal skills with a polite, courteous demeanor toward staff, customers, clients, and visitors
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must pass a background check
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time

• Relocation requirement: Auburn, CA 95603 (relocate before starting work)
