Job Description
The Houseperson - Events at Seaview Hotel oversees the setup and breakdown of meeting spaces, arranging tables, chairs, water, and related equipment to meet event specifications. Strong communication skills and the ability to lift moderate weights in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Salary
USD 16 per hour
Responsibilities
- Set up banquet areas according to event requirements, ensuring layouts align with provided designs, standards, and diagrams.
- Collaborate with event managers and catering teams to fulfill all requirements before events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet spaces before, during, and after events, including vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down equipment and furniture.
- Assist in breakdown and post-event cleanup, returning items to designated locations.
- Inspect banquet equipment and supplies and report maintenance or replacement needs to management.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs.
- Good communication skills
