Lake Terrace Dining Room - Host/Hostess

Support exceptional guest experiences in our Lake Terrace Dining Room by managing reservations, welcoming diners, and coordinating service as part of the Food and Beverage team.

Responsibilities

• Use the computer reservation system according to established policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Answer phones and handle guest requests in line with Broadmoor Standards of Excellence
• Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties and/or special services for guests
• Greet guests, escort them to tables, and provide menus
• Assist with problem solving to help deliver an exceptional guest experience
• Set up workstations and manage food and beverage checks
• Assist with guiding and training new staff
• Order and stock supplies as needed
• Follow Broadmoor safety, hygiene, and uniform standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of related experience (equivalent preferred)
• Enthusiastic, friendly, energetic team member who works well with others
• Strong interpersonal communication skills

Pay

• USD 16.00-23.00 per hour inclusive hourly pay rate + service charge*
• Pay details: $16-23 per hour based on a $14.00 per hour base wage plus service charge commission paid per shift
• Historical service charge commission earnings: $2.00-9.00 per hour (fluctuates based on events and time of year)
• Service charges are commissions and will fluctuate based on events and time of year
• This position always earns at least the current Colorado minimum wage of $15.16 per hour
